Howdy! I'm new to evernote. Love it!!!

Where does the evernote data/files exist on local hd (mac)? I want to see how much space it's taking.

Also, is the "export notes to archive" the way to back everything up?

Thanks!

If you are using the App Store version then it is here - ~/Library/Containers/com.evernote.Evernote

If you are using the direct download version it's in Library/Application Support/Evernote

I just backup the whole folder, much quicker than exporting.

Your question is answered here.

Wern, the new guy is using a Mac and your link refers to the Windows app.

Hello. I'm running OS X 10.8.2 and I do not see any data within the ~/Library/Containers/com.evernote.Evernote folder. I also do not have a ~/Library/Application Support/Evernote folder at all.

So, I likewise am wondering where the Evernote data is stored locally. I don't want to manipulate it; I simply want to create a "backup" within Dropbox using the "ln -s" Terminal command.

Found it. It's located within:

~/Library/Containers/com.evernote.Evernote/Data/Library/Application Support/Evernote/accounts/Evernote/

Hey guys,

Sorry but I do not have the following:

/Library/Containers/com.evernote.Evernote/Data/Library/Application Support/Evernote/accounts/Evernote/

or

 ~/Library/Containers/com.evernote.Evernote

or

Library/Application Support/Evernote

So WHERE is EN saving data????

You do, Apple hide the Library folder by default - hold down the alt key in Finder and select the Go menu and it will appear.
