(Archived) Evernote Expensify Integration

I am trying to use the Evernote Expensify integration with the Fijitsu ScanSnap. I am able to scan to Evernote as a PDF, move the file to the Expensify notebook and then go into Expensify and manually resync. It shows the name over the Evernote file as syncing, but when I look at both Receipts and Expenses in Expensify, I do not see the expense. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well maybe... if you're using the desktop app like I was! I emailed them and received this response:

We recommend that users utilize the web and mobile app over the desktop app to avoid issues as the desktop app is rather unreliable.

I find the mobile (android) app has similar problems, but the desktop app works. The key is you have to CREATE the note on the desktop app.

Shame... as I'm concerned about trusting it, even when it eventually gets fixed.
