(Archived) How do I paste an inline image in yahoo mail from an Evernote clipping?

Recommended Posts

I would like to be able to clip something using Evernote and to insert that clipped into into the body of my Yahoo mail (not as an attachment but as an inline image). I can't figure out how to do this. From another post someone suggested using www.imgur.com but the evernote images don't seem to be able to be dragged to the image processor. Is there another way?

Edit: Actually I figured out that if I use Microsoft's snipping tool (Win7) I am able to snip an image and save it to my desktop as a png file. I am then able to go into www.imgur.com and upload that particular png file into Imgur. Once this is done I can copy and paste the image directly into the body of the email. This works pretty well but it would be nicer if I could do it with Evernote clipped images.

Dunno how this works with Yahoo mail, but just yesterday, I clipped a screenshot onto the clipboard using Evernote's Windows screenshot tool, and without pausing to think about it, pressed Ctrl+V in a GMail email I was writing, and it pasted right in. Then I said "Whoa, did I just do that? That's how it's supposed to work".

No guarantees, but worth a try with Yahoo mail, I'd think.

Yes, it works in Gmail but not in Yahoo mail. I'm not sure why this is the case but I've tested it several times and it's always flawless in gmail and non-functioning with Yahoo.
