KicktheGrind 1
Hello Everyone!I just updated my OS to Mountain Lion last week. Ever since the upgrade, I cannot find the app in the spotlight. My other apps still appear when searched, and Evernote still opens from my applications folder.Any idea what's up? Thanks! Melinda 0
I've been researching the same problem. From other posts I've seen, it looks like it may be a limitation of the Appstore version of Evernote. Apparently, if you download Evernote directly from the Evernote website, Spotlight will work again. Only problem is that I can't find a direct download from Evernote anymore! Link to comment
jmath 0
I've had this problem several times after Evernote updates. A trip to the Apple store yielded this repair:Force Spotlight to re-index the applications folder: Go to System Preferences, click Spotlight, and go to the privacy tab. Click on the plus button to add the application folder to the list of private (non-searched) folders. Close the window to apply your changes.Go back to System Preferences, click Spotlight, and return to the privacy tab. Select the application folder and click the minus button to remove it from the list of non-searched folders. Close the window to apply your changes.Spotlight will re-index the applications folder to be able to search it quickly, and Evernote will once again be accessible. Link to comment
