grivp 2
It would be useful to be able to insert a date or time stamp in my notes (or in the title bar) with a right click or button. That way I could keep a running log of when in a day I added items. Link to comment

ggreenfield 0
Are there similar shortcuts for Linux ?Yes. Xdotool can do this for you and it will work in all applications, not just Evernote.Xdotool is probably available in your distro's package manager.Once installed, create a script with this content:xdotool type $(date +"%H:%M")Example:nano /usr/bin/timestampMake it executablechmod +x /usr/bin/timestampRun timestamp from a keyboard shortcut or from your desktops command launcher (Alt+F2 in KDE)Output: 12:06If you want the date as well, something like this:xdotool type $(date +"%m/%d/%Y-%H:%M")Output: 12/02/2012-12:06 Link to comment
