(Archived) How to get back to small case letters?

Hi,

I copied something in capital letters from the web and pasted it in a note, now everything I type after that is in caps. How can I get back to a normal input mode.

There are several possibilities.

You may have hit the CAPS key and now all your letter are in caps. Hit CAPS again and it will switch back.

Try hitting ENTER and then continue normally.

And finally, there may be some leftover formatting that is not visible to you.

If all fails, copy your text, open a new note and paste it as text (ALT-CTRL-V).

That should do the trick.

Also might've clipped an All-Caps typeface. Clip some text from somewhere else (even from Notepad) and paste it in after the errant font.
