(Archived) Please Increase Window Sizing Flexibility

I have been using Evernote for some time now but I am seriously considering moving to something like Notational Velocity or similar due to one major problem. I own a 13 inch Macbook Pro and a multimonitor custom built PC. My problem is that I cannot split my MacBook's screen between Evernote and another window due to the window sizing restrictions that Evernote has. If the purpose is to take notes doesn't it make sense to allow the window sizing to enable two windows open at the same time that are split down the middle of the screen?

If you double click on the note you want to edit, it will open up in a more resizable window.

I was aware of that but really do they have to make it so that I get to have another window open. They should make it so that the main UIs size is more manageable. I don't need another window open, I have enough as a developer as it is!
