Could evernote add a hotkey to insert "time"?

Recommended Posts

I have found out the web‘s help of how to input "time",it says that I must use another software to help inputting the "time" in the evernote.

But I think it’s a very important function to input "time" in an easier way.

Even the windows text document has "F5" to insert time very handy.

I'm sorry about my poor English. However, please think about it,it's worth to update it.

Best wishes.

Hi goodhearts, welcome to the forum :)

Which client are you using? (Windows/Mac/Web/Etc.)

It is possible in the windows client and the Mac client:

Windows:

Ctrl + ; or Alt + Shift + d

Mac:

Date: ⌘ ⇧ D

Time: ⌘ ⇧ ⌥ D

As far as I know there are no direct methods for the other clients.

Scott just answer the question for insert date and time. My question is for date only.  :)

Hi. spg Scott answers that in this thread's 2nd post.

Insert date and time is a very useful shortcut, but sometimes I just want to insert date. May I know how to just insert date on Windows application?
Thanks.
