(Archived) Tags in public shared notebooks

I was surprised to see that tags appear in a public shared notebook. Is there any way to not have them visible to others?

Also - is there any way to have a common shared (and synced) notebook between 2 Evernote users?

The tags for your public notes are listed, but any tags that aren't applied to notes in that notebook won't show up. There's currently no way to disable this behavior, other than not tagging public notes.

We don't yet allow direct user-to-user sharing, but this is something we plan to add early next year.
