switters 9
There are two instances of the Evernote Clipper appearing in the OS X menu bar: How do I uninstall one of them? Link to comment
Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,118 Posted August 15, 2012 Level 5* Share Posted August 15, 2012 I reported this BUG two versions ago, but it still has NOT been fixed. This does not inspire confidence in Evernote.Several users have reported that EN Mac is causing excessive CPU usage. I wonder if this is related. Link to comment
ventmore 1
I have the non-MAS version of Evernote, and resolved this by removing the evernote helper from my login items list. I assume the helper must be getting launched another way now, as I've done this on both my iMac, and my MacBook Air, and the helper still works perfectly, even though there isn't an entry for it in login items.Goto System Preferences -> Users and Groups -> Login Items, and remove the Evernote Helper from the list. Restart, and you should only have one menu bar icon. Link to comment
