(Archived) EN won't upgrade from 3.1.2 to 3.3 in Mac APP Store

I see an update available in the mac apple store for my evernote mac app. I am running Mountain Lion on an iMac. Each time I try to update, I get an error message. ERROR 1004. I've attached a screenshot of what I see. Each time this happened I see the option to retry, and it keeps giving me the same response. Has anyone run into this problem before on a Mac? Is it a Mountain Lion issue? Or something else?

I've been having EXACTLY the same problem - other softwares from App store update just fine, but or some reason Evernote is a no go

It's Mac App Store specific issue. First, verify you don't have any firewall software running. Beyond that, if it doesn't resolve itself, you can always uninstall and use our direct download version: http://evernote.com/evernote/index.php?file=EvernoteMac

Make sure you have everything synced before you uninstall!
