(Archived) Prevent Zip File Creation

Hi All

I have a folder on my desktop with a bunch of PDFs. If I drag the folder to EN a zip file is created of the folder in EN... How can I stop that happening. Yes I could open the folder and select the files and drag them into EN but is there a way of just grabbing the folder and dropping into EN and have the files there ready to sort?

I would be very interested too. A cool way would be to reuse iOS folder concept to show folder's files within a note. But at least, it would be useful to be able to choose whether we want to create a zip or not. For instance, it is not possible to add a dmg or a sparse bundle to a note without zipping it. That's frustrating.
