i recently upgraded to Mountain Lion and also upgraded EN to the latest version (3.3). Everything was working fine until this morning I unexplainably got this error;

"Synchronization failed because evernote was unable to save the downloaded data to disk"

I have plenty of room on my hard drive (400gb) so I have no idea what's going on.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

i ended up unistalling and reinstalling....which did the trick.

not the solution i was looking for but after seeing 150 people viewed my post and no one replied....it didn't look like this was a widespread issue.

Evernote, please help. I have reinstalled both ML and 3.3 and still having the same sync issue.

Anyone else still having the same issue as well?

I liked the simplicity of Daniele's post, but unfortunately didn't work :(

But my problem is slightly different. Recently, I started getting this error:

Synchronization Failure

Evernote is unable to connect with the Evernote Service. This may be due to a network problem or service maintenance. Please try again later. If enabled, automatic synchronization will resume once the Service becomes available.

This is not a problem on my iPad or phone. Its making me a little crazy. Any thoughts?

I tried emptying the evernote trash both locally and on the web version

tried deleting the com.evernote.Evernote folder

Thanks for any and all ideas. Evernote is very central to my workflow and this is seriously problematic.

I found the solution to my problem above (the synchronization failure with evernote server). It is located here: #11

Thanks!
