(Archived) Someone not able to open notes i uploaded for them

In my book I have a link for 4 templates I have created. Everyone has been able to download them and import them to their evernote fine so far, but I have one person who cannot.

He can download it, but that is it. I tried it this morning from a mac and it worked fine for me. This is from him. Ideas?

It will not let me open the file. In the downloads file it shows "grayed" out and I cannot select it. When I open the file I get a jumbled mess.I

When he clicks on the link to your shared note, he ought to be able to view it through any browser. I've got some templates here

Can he view them?

My guess is that he can, but what you are doing is putting the .enex file on the web for him to download directly. Is this the case? If so, then he might not be able to open it if he doesn't have Evernote installed. I'd suggest just sharing the note with him. That is the most direct way to get a note into someone's account.

Shared notebook is not what I am looking to accomplish though. I am trying to give them the templates so they can import them into their accounts, edit them to fit their needs and not effect mine.

I asked him, he says he is using the desktop version, but makes no sense why it is grayed out when he tries to import it
