(Archived) HELP: How to persuade Evernote to look for password in 1Password instead of OSX Keychain?

I recently began working with Evernote and at about the same time established 1Password as my password manager.

Evernote's Mac App, when launching, wants to obtain permission to access information from OSX Keychain. How can I persuade it to look at 1Password instead?

Seeing that there's no answer as to now, I'd like to share my limited knowledge. My guess is that Evernote is using the programming interfaces for Mac OS X's Keychain. I don't think that Evernote's programmers provided the option to connect to 1Password instead. Maybe you can achieve this from the other side: When at Evernote's login screen, use 1Password to fill in the password -- I merely guess that this might be possible, to be honest I'm not using 1Password.
