Bulldog 7
Am I wrong to feel astonished that it's not possible to do something so basic as to delete a notebook in the Android client? Link to comment
Xavier_ 132
That's a current limitation on the Android app. The main reason is that there is no trash can in the app. Thus it is not possible to retrieve the deleted information if that was done by mistake. Link to comment
Bulldog 7
My lightweight note-taking app doesn't have a trash can either. Deleted notes are backed up to my SD card, where they can be retrieved later if needed. Many note-taking apps can do this ... why not Evernote? Link to comment

They apparently have decided to err on the side of caution. I'm sure there would be a lot of people on the other side of the fence who would be annoyed if they deleted a notebook & could not retrieve their notes from the trash. Link to comment
