(Archived) Performance iPhone app

Hi,

I am a bit worried about the performance of the iPhone app. I know that a lot has to do with the actual speed of your data connection but even on Wifi Evernote is at times slowish. I also have noted that when using the photo snap option the iPhone freezes. Are others experiencing slow performance as well?

If iPhone applications are freezing on your phone, then you should make sure that you've updated to the latest firmware (which seems more stable). If that doesn't help, you may want to uninstall our app and reinstall.

And if THAT doesn't help ...

Use the "restore" button in iTunes to wipe and reformat the phone and install the Evernote application on it. The last step of the install procedures asks if you want to set it up as a "new" phone, or restore from a previous backup.

If you restore from a backup, you may just end up with the same problem, so you'll want to pick "new" phone.

The iPhone software is notoriously buggy (see: http://blog.wired.com/gadgets/2008/07/d ... despi.html) I would especially recommend the initialization process if you've noticed issues with other applications on your phone.
