HELP: How to archive my exiting blog posts to Evernote

Greeting!

I have a Wordpress-based family blog with 495 posts at http://dashu-huahua.com/

I would like to archive my past posts in Evernote. Is there a quick, easy and automatic way of doing this?

BTW, I have already set up an ifttt Wordpress to Evernote task to auto archive my future posts.

Look forward to your help!

Victor

hi. welcome to the forums!

the easiest way i can think of would be to download all of the posts as html files and then drag them into evernote (on a mac this will create 495 individual notes). sitesucker or some other app can help with this if your blog host doesn't have a way to easily export as html.

Thanks, GrumpyMonkey,

Just gave sitesucker a try, it did not work the way I intended.

I am hoping to see the blog posts imported into Evernote as if they came from an RSS feed, not a HTML file that Evernote does not render.

So I am trying this.

1. I went to my WordPress dashboard, under Settings->Reading, I set "

Syndication feeds show the most recent

" to 1000. (I had it set at 7 before).

2. I went to http://www.feedmyinbox.com and set up sending the feed from my blog to my Evernote e-mail address

Not sure when the feed will be delivered, and I hope it will work. Already when I browsed http://dashu-huahua.com/feed, there is a huge text/html file been generated. And when I added the feed in Google reader, a list of 25 feeds showed up...

fingers crossed!

Problem solved!

Here goes (I am using a Mac for this).

1. Go to your WordPress dashboard, under Settings->Reading, set "

Syndication feeds show the most recent

" to 1000. (I had it set at 7 before. Set this number to a number larger than your current total posts).

2. Download NetNewWire and add your blog's feed.

3. Download the scripts at http://veritrope.com...rt-applescript/ and http://veritrope.com...nd-applescript/

4. install and run the batch script

Voila! Evernote is now working very hard on the 495 notes! My blog is very much a photograph blog, I am afraid I will have to pay $5 to Evernote this month for running over the 1G/month limit...

I am struggling with this - I fail at the first hurdle as I have more posts than the rss reader can cope with. it can do a lower number, but then that's more than 3/4 undone.

This is something that shouldn't be so hard!
