MagusPerde 0
I like almost everything about Evernote. I especially like that one can encrypt text to make it extra-private, but one thing that I think would make the encryption feature even better is if one could create an entire encrypted notebook to extend that extra level of security to whatever notes one might need to put in there. Also, regarding encryption, am I correct that it isn't possible to decrypt text on an iPhone? On mine, it asks for the passkey, but then the text doesn't decrypt. Link to comment
engberg 89
There's a bug in the current iPhone release that can't format the encrypted text in certain circumstances. (This is more likely to happen when the encrypted text comes from Windows.)This will be fixed in the next iPhone client release. Link to comment
AndyMax 0
My text from Outlook notes probably uses a standard font/formatting and decrypts well on the iPhone. Link to comment
MagusPerde 0
Thanks Dave. Any thoughts about my main request for encrypted notebooks? Link to comment
engberg 89
Encrypted notebooks would break in many ways. You couldn't search in them, we couldn't process images in them, we couldn't generate thumbnails for them, etc. So we don't have plans to add this. Link to comment
