noteit 0 Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 can anyone tell me how to get this new feature (making a note a 'to do') work?????? thanks
totaljoe 0 Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 The iTunes release notes state that you can "Check and uncheck "To-do" list items. I could be wrong, I take this to mean you can only check and uncheck boxes already created on the desktop app. But you still can't add check boxes to notes on the iPhone, and therefore you can't create to-do lists on the phone.I hope I'm wrong.
engberg 89 Posted September 9, 2008 Posted September 9, 2008 Yes, this feature is to check off existing to do lists ... there's no rich text editor on the iPhone, so no good way to add new rich text like this.
londondude 0 Posted October 1, 2008 Posted October 1, 2008 Just a thought, what if you made a To-do item then the tickbox can be an unused symbol. the item is then synced to the server (that adds the tick box instead of the symbol). Then when you receive the note back it has the tickbox instead of the symbol. A bit of a long way of doing it but a solution.
