Jensen 1
I want to annotate screenshots, and need to be able to create a text box that has a filled background for enhanced readability when I place the text box over a screenshot. Is there a way to do that in Skitch? Link to comment
pjonesCET2 0
Sure draw The box using the box tool. the switch to paint tool and choose color fromPallet Hover over the box create and click. Box will be filled in: see the box I created in this screen shot using skitch. Link to comment
Zach H 0
What a pain, though. Adds too much friction what needs to be an effortless workflow. I don't always want a bordered box, but I find I want it more often than not and Jing made this so easy. I hate to drop Skitch for such a minor thing, but its killing me.There really is a need for three separate tools here: Box, Text, and Text Box, kind of like Adobe Illustrator has. Link to comment

Jensen 1
Is there a way to fill a shape using Evernote's annotation tools? Link to comment
jronneberg 6
At this time, there is no way to fill in a shape with Skitch or Evernote Annotate (other than manually "coloring" inside a shape -- which I would not recommend). Although we do have it documented as a feature request. Link to comment
