Valerie 0 Posted April 15, 2012 Share Posted April 15, 2012 I am unable to search using the latest version of Evernote installed on my machine, running Mac OS 10.6.8.There is no visible search bar and the shortcuts for searching do not produce anything.Is there an earlier version I can download that may solve the problem? Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,117 Posted April 15, 2012 Level 5* Share Posted April 15, 2012 You may want to consider upgrading to Mac Lion OS.Evernote has been busy making lots of changes to EN Mac, and many (most?) of them only show up when running Lion.It looks like Apple with release the next Mac OS, Mountain Lion, within the next few months, so this problem will likely get worse as time goes on.I've been using Lion since it was released, and it is working quite well for me. I'm surprised to hear what you say because I thought that issue was only with Lion. I also use Snow Leopard (10.6.8) and have always had a search bar, including with Evernote 3.0.7 beta 5, the version I'm using now. Link to comment
