If a certain note was created as a result of a clip or paste from a website, thus giving it a URL reference, there should be an option that retakes that clip every day and updates the entry. This would be useful if you are using Evernote to index documentation available online (no authentication). Would this be useful for other people too?

I don't think that the core Evernote application will do this, but we're adding some APIs and scripting commands that you could use to regularly clip content.
