Danny Lin 9
Most applications reguards Enters as "paragraph" and creates a
tag on pressing it, while Evernote Windows creates
tags when Enter is pressed. This feature seems to make Enter create a "change line", to match the custom of Office users. However the feature can sometimes cause annoying issues once the user isn't aware that it is
instead of
being created. And it would make the content created by Evernote hard to transport to other HTML-based editors since the HTML is not "beautiful".I think it would be better if Enter simply creates
-- so the user will be awared about the difference between Enter and Shift+Enter. If the "change line by Enter" feature is important, adding a config for Enters to create
may be more preferable. Link to comment
