(Archived) Sharing from Evernote android problem

Recommended Posts

Sharing a Document from the Documents to Go app to Evernote Android results in an odd problem.

The sharing creates a note with an attachment that appears as a doc file when opened in Evernote web (the file has a long, seemingly random combination of numbers and letters- with.doc on the end)

When opened in Evernote windows, the note attachment appears as having the name attachment.bin!

Ideally, Evernote windows should recognise the file as a .doc file like Evernote web does.

One more observation, if I instead share from Documents to Go directly to gmail, I get an attachment in my email with the proper doc name and the proper.doc extension send via email.
