Instead, the recognizer outputs separate text items for each area in the image that it thinks contains text, and there may be multiple text items for each area; the text recognizer is in effect making several guesses. So you wind up with a bunch of discrete guesses for rectangular areas of the image. This information is included in the Evernote export format (.ENEX file). If the Mac client can generate those, you can examine them in a text editor; it's the 'recoText' items, I think. Link to comment
