Different Evernote employees use different terms to describe the software updates.

The ones I have seen used most frequently are:

• Beta
  
• Internal Build
  
• Prerelease
  
• Public
  
• Release
  
• GA
  

What does the acronym GA mean? I found a lot of posibilities for GA here:

If it means General Availability, is there a difference between GA and when Evernote uses the term Public?

That mostly takes care of your question. It looks like if you're part of the beta track, you still may be using an RC and not a GA--according to his statements.
