Handyman 0 Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Every time I shut down OS X, I see an error box saying that the shutdown process was cancelled by Evernote. I have to then manually shut down Evernote, then shutdown OS X again. This can't be normal... How can this be avoided?I'm using Evernote 3.0.5, with OS X 10.7.2

Level 5* GrumpyMonkey 4,320 Posted January 19, 2012 Level 5* Posted January 19, 2012 this happens a lot to me as well. if i remember correctly, it usually happens when i shut down in the middle of a sync, or maybe if i have an unsaved note open. i'd set your account to sync more frequently and/ or do it manually.
dlu 628 Posted January 19, 2012 Posted January 19, 2012 Looking into this issue, will try to get some manpower on it soon.
Handyman 0 Posted January 20, 2012 Author Posted January 20, 2012 Have you tried reinstalling?Reinstalliing didn't help.Evernote still cancels the shutdown, but it shuts itself down in the process. Then I have to click Apple, Shut Down again.
RTRex 0 Posted March 28, 2012 Posted March 28, 2012 Same with me - no matter whether it syncs or not - the Evernote cancels the shutdown. We need a fix for this, as this is extremely annoying, next time you think twice before running Evernote.
