(Archived) [feature request] Editing long notes in place

Samsung Galaxy S Wifi 5.0, Android 2.3.5

Symptom:

every time I read a very long text document in Evernote and would like to edit something e.g at the end part of the text, when entering into edit mode it jumps to the beginning of the doc. Now it requires lots of scrolling down again to make that edit.

How should it work:

When I am located at the end of document and press edit, the edit field should open exactly that area where I entered into the edit mode from.

Is this an Android behaviour anyway, or can be improved in Evernote?
