(Archived) REQUEST: Open a note with keyboard shortcut

Hi there,

first of all, this is a great product that greatly simplifies my work. But, I would be much faster if I could open a highlighted note with a keyboard shortcut. I checked the list, but there doesn't seem to be one.

Am I the only one with this problem? Anyone knows a workaround?

(edit) I'm using Mac Os X 10.7.2, newest release and Evernote Version Version 3.0.5 (209942)

I have the same problem. Opening a note in a new window seems like such an obvious thing to have a keyboard shortcut for (like ⌘O in almost all Mac applications). Any response from Evernote on this?

I've run into this shortcoming, too. I, for one, vote to have it added as a feature request.

This is a user forum that Evernote employees sometimes comment on. At least one Evernote employee will read every post here, but if you're looking to get a guaranteed response to a specific issue, you should contact Evernote directly through support.evernote.com.

I back this request. The Card View on the OSX client is really great, and even nicer if you collapse the Note Editor so that it fills the screen. Without a keyboard shortcut to open a note however, I am still forced to lift my hands from the keyboard to view the note contents.
