(Archived) clicking on web links in email goes straight to Evernote, not to the website...very frustrating

When I open an email on my Mac and click on a hyperlink, Evernote opens it up instead of going straight to the web site. I end up having to cut and paste the link into the browser in order to get to the website. Anybody know what to do about this? I am about to quit on Evernote, but I really like the other features it has to offer besides this problem.

Are you opening the email via mail or another program? This sounds very unusual

Could be you set Evernote to be the default browser. Try opening Safari and go to the preference pane (⌘,) and go to the General tab where you can select the system wide default browser.
