(Archived) Feature Request - Print Note Titles only

I would like to be able to run a search and then print just a list of the note titles - essentially the list view from the search results. The print dialog is very close to this, but an option to not print the note contents would be welcome. This is helpful when you want to run through a list of projects or errands or gifts without all of the details.

You did not specify the operating system. Here is how I print a list of titles in the Windows client.

• Run the search
  
• Select all the notes (Ctrl + A)
  
• Right click and "Copy note links"
  
• Paste into a new Evernote note and print
  

Here is a list that I just did in less than 10 seconds

From the Windows Client, Go to Print->Options and then uncheck everything except "Title".

Voila, you will print just a note list.

[EDIT] This problem is probably due to my computer setup, so I'll submit a support request. (Ticket: 16051-58361)

That's a nice tip, but I can't get it to work.

I'm using:

Evernote for Windows 4.5.3.6060 (217078) Prerelease

OS: Windows 6.1.7601 Service Pack 1

I ran into a couple problems.

1.) I cannot get the Print Preview to show only the note titles from my search.

2.) When I try printing the selected notes from my search, I end up with the body of the notes along with the titles.

Response from Evernote Support:

We apologize for the inconvenience, however it appears there is currently a bug causing this.

We appreciate you taking the time to send us this error.

We have been able to verify the same result you received, and filed an internal bug report with the QA team lead.

She will classify and fix the bugs in the order determined by the project Lead. Unfortunately this is not something I can fix for you at this time.

Not only can I create the list of titles quickly, I can adjust the format by pasting the titles into my word processor.

Hi, This is still a bug....

Tried to do it today, and still printed the note text.

For those of use who use note titles as tasks, and want to print a list of tasks, this feature would be quite useful.

A header using the notebook title, date and time would be a valuable addition as well.

....enjoying Evernote more, the more I figure out how it works...

This bug is still present.  I attempted to print only titles and tags to a pdf and it printed entire contents of all notes.  I am looking for more/easier tasklist functionality from Evernote Windows.
