(Archived) Photo re-orientation

I have emailed some photos to a notebook via my Evernote email address. The thumbnail of the image is correct but the full screen note the image is sideways or upside down. Different emails and different orientations - so not a consistent pattern of format. How do I rotate the image?

I used forum search to look for "rotate images" in the Mac forum, and found http://discussion.evernote.com/topic/21159-images-sent-to-my-evernote-are-upside-down/ as the first entry.

Good idea.

Seemed to work fine.

Though when I opened it up in Preview it was oriented correctly. So I just rotated it 90 degrees and then back 90 degrees and it reset the image. Thanks for the tip.
