(Archived) Adobe XPRO Problems Reading Notes on iPad

Recommended Posts

Just bought an ipad and am loving Evernote! But I am having a problem with my pdf's.

I have Adobe XPRO so I can add comments (pricing) to pdf's and then send back to customers. I would like to start an Evernote file for my salesreps so they can follow up in quotes. When I preview the pdf's I see my added notes, text boxes, arrows etc...in teh prview but when I open the actual document on my ipad the notes are not there.

It works fine with my PC and laptop using Evernote, just the ipads are not showing the added notes.

i believe this is an ios failing that has nothing to do with evernote. evernote is relying on the native pdf reader to display the pdf, and it seems to hide some elements. if you "open in" another application (i recommend iannotate) you'll see the notes.

Thanks! I downloaded iannote and it worked great and I can see the notations.

great to hear!

personally, i find the iannotate interface to be pretty, but very unintuitive. still, in my opinion, it is the best reader out there (surpassed goodreader about a month ago). if you have any questions about how to get around in it, send me a pm. enjoy!
