(Archived) Where did my tags go and how do I get them back into Notebook

I mistakenly right clicked on a tag and ended up clicking on "remove tag from Notebook". The tag no longer shows up in Tag list, although the entries are still in the Notebook. How do I get Tags to reappear in the Tag list?? Thanks! Cathy

I am not aware of an easy way to solve this.

That is why Evernote has the pop up message that gives you a 2nd chance:

Confirm Action

Are you sure you want to delete the tag "abc"?

This will also delete sub-tags and cannot be undone.

Open a support case, they may be able to help you out.

Or...if you had a recent backup of your database, you could restore from it.
