Scan Birthday Cards and Holiday Cards

I always felt guilty throwing out greeting cards but hated having them pile up. I'd usually stick them somewhere then eventually throw them out, usually after a year or so. I started scanning to Evernote so I still have them but without the guilt associated with just tossing them out.

My daughter spent a year away from her University studying in Zimbabwe. She sent us letters written in teeny tiny handwritten characters so she could get more info squeezed in. There was no email where she studied. A side benefit of scanning them into Evernote is I can use the PDF zoom feature and read them more easily.
