millytill 0 Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Hi all,I'm a newbie on the user forum (and pretty much a newbie to EN), so my apologies if this issue was previously discussed.I was wondering if anyone minds sharing thoughts about EN vs. other database tools (like this cloud database solution for example)? Thanks for sharing!Milly
gbarry 2,659 Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Moved to general discussion, you'll get a better response here.EDITED:As far as "cloud" solutions, I'd stand by the statement that no single service is the same, and all have their own specific usescases tied to them. It all depends on your own personal interests and plans. For example, Dropbox v. Evernote have been discussed ad nauseam on this board, but in reality the two have very very different real-world applications, though both are part of the wave of cloud services hitting the market. The site you link though appears to be a cloud sql database product though. I'm not sure that's anywhere in the same realm as DB/EN/othercloudstuff debate.http://xeround.com/cloud-database-comparison/
Owyn 457 Posted October 31, 2011 Posted October 31, 2011 Yeah. This is more an alternative to Google Cloud SQL services.http://googlecode.bl...e-in-cloud.html
