There is a Save command under File; what is that for ? I thought EN saves automatically.

I would like to be able to save a note as pdf. Is it possible ?

Print to PDF saves as a PDF, it doesn't really print.

This is the same in every os x app

You can export as HTML or enex, but you can print to PDF - just select the note and hit print, PDF options are in the bottom left corner of the print dialogue.

"Save" is very important. EN is supposed to save automatically in OSX and iOS. Most of the time it does this. Sometimes it doesn't, though! I have lost important chunks of work because I got lazy and stopped saving.

Support tickets were created, emails were exchanged, past note versions were searched, etc., but to no avail.

Be thankful that the "save" button is there :)

It prints, it does not save

Really?

Try it - consider it part of your education.

OK, I see it now Very tricky. EN seems to think: why make it simple when it can be tricky ?

and make the customer waist time ?

Wow. No. It is not Evernote. They are not wasting your time.

This process is pretty standard for OSX. As I recall, the Microsoft Windows universe has similar features. I certainly don't expect (or want) EN to duplicate the functionality that OSX already provides with the Mac.

I'm a sucker, aren't I?

It earned you a sympathy "like" from me.

Sweet of you - it seems that our favourite genius forummer is unaware of pretty basic OS X functionality, strangely I'm not surprised.
