(Archived) Android Map Views - Satellite/Map/Hybrid - Google Map API update?

I've noticed on the ipad app you can switch between map, hybrid & satellite view in maps mode. However this feature is unavailable in the android app, only allowing for the standard map view. Am I missing something? If not please add.
