Pinterest is AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!! I have so much saved in my Pinterest I am very excited about getting it all organized in Evernote. Pinterest has a little of everything.....no matter what your interest may be. I love crafting, quilting, cooking and there is a lot of decorating & kid ideas. Way too much to even list LOL. Photography...decorating....on and on and on and on :D

I love Pinerest! There are so many fantastic ideas. It would be helpful to have my pins better organized. There are so many projects that I want to start.

As much as I love Pinterest, I tend to duplicate the pinned items in the same type of categories to my Evernote account. This is because if the blog/website/etc. that you've pinned ever goes away, you've lost the information that you pinned. But if you save it in your Evernote account you will ALWAYS have it, even if the site is taken down or the content changes.

since borrdeauxgirl brought this up the other day, I've been playing around with it. I've found a way to move your "pins" automatically into Evernote and save them for posterity.

Every Pinterest follower has an RSS feed automatically created for their account. For example, the user "heather" (not me, just an example) has this:

http://pinterest.com/heather/feed.rss

Go to http://www.feedmyinbox.com and enter the RSS feed for your Pinterest page, as well as your Evernote email address (found on your account settings page).

Voila! Every new pin will be added into Evernote automatically.

That is brilliant. Thanks for sharing!

Evernoted. Hmmm. Now which 5 feeds do I choose? None actually. Got to keep this service in my back pocket for when it is needed. Thanks Heather.

I think I need more exposure to appreciate Pinterest. However, at this time, I'm pretty much full up. Maybe something to pursue at a later time, for me.

What a great Pinterest/Evernote integration workaround! thanks Heather. And for the feedmyinbox.com info. Another good site/tool to know about.

Ok, I'm more actively taking a look at Pinterest & did what Heather suggested. Alas, if I want my Pin to go to EN pretty much immediately, I have to have a paid (Pinterest) account. Ok. I'll spring the $5 to try it for a month. But...argggghhhhh... apparently I have to wait the ~24 hours to get the first email in order to upgrade to the "immediate" option.

So far, I think I'm enjoying Pinterest but honestly don't think it's all that. I may change my mind later on, though, since I think I see the adantages of it..Rather like a filtered Google. Kind of.

We'll see...

I haven't quite figured out what Pinerest is all about, but there are some nice pictures there.

I've pulled a few pages of interest into my Evernote account. Some of the links still work from Evernote

Some nice homes (actually, some very, very nice homes)

One thing that's bugging me. I only want to transfer only a couple of my Pinterest boards to Evernote. Not all of my pins or future-pins.

How do I do that?

Hi MiraMain...creating a RSS feed of a particular board (instead of all pins) works exactly the same way that heather has previously said, however you just add in a further path detail;

http://pinterest.com/username/boardname.rss

It seems to only work for public boards, not secret ones though.

This is a great idea!  I just set this up but FeedMyInbox says it has sent an email confirmation to my Evernote email address.  How do I check that email inbox?

Nevermind!  I see now that it sends the confirmation straight to Evernote.
