(Archived) HOWTO: Open note link in new window

hi,

i'd like to have an option in the right-click-context-menu on a internal-note-link inside a note in the en-main-window to open that linked note into a new en-note-window.

at the moment, the linked note is opened inside en, which is not convenient in some situations, because it "overwrites" the note which is shown (which i need to read)

anybody has a way to do this?

Is it possible that create an evernote shortcut on Desktop, and click it to open the specific note without showing the main window?

It's easy (I think) - right-click the SYNCed note in list or snippet view and choose Copy Note Link. Paste that link into a shortcut on your desktop. and Roberto is your parents' elderly brother. At least that works in Windows. One of my (many) faults is that I'm not a Mac person.
