peterfmartin 221
Having only used Evernote for a few months so far, I'm still learning all the tricks. I've looked on these boards to an answer to my question, but I haven't found it. Sorry if I'm missing it somewhere, but hopefully someone here can help me without too much trouble.I'm wondering whether there's a search function that will return all notes with associated URLs. It doesn't matter what the URL is; I basically just want to tag all of them "Bookmark" now that I've decided to scrap my browser bookmarks and rely on Evernote for this. Is there an equivalent of "tag:*" for URLs that will show me all the notes that have URLs? Searching "URL:*" turns up posts that include "URL" in the text, rather than notes with data in the URL field. I've also tried a couple other searches, like "resource:URL," without luck.Is this possible? If so, what's the correct way to do this search? Thanks. Link to comment

Level 5 jbenson2 2,146 Posted October 2, 2011 Level 5 Share Posted October 2, 2011 If you know the website address, you can narrow your search by using the following format:sourceURL:http://www.drudgereport.com/* for the Drudge ReportsourceURL:http://hotair.com/* for HotairsourceURL:http://dailycaller.com/* for DailyCallerSome website require www. and some do not. I don't know why. Link to comment
peterfmartin 221
Thanks a lot, jbenson. All I needed was "sourceURL:*"—which saved me from manually tagging hundreds of notes, so thanks again. Link to comment
