(Archived) Search function for URLs (yes/no)?

Recommended Posts

Having only used Evernote for a few months so far, I'm still learning all the tricks. I've looked on these boards to an answer to my question, but I haven't found it. Sorry if I'm missing it somewhere, but hopefully someone here can help me without too much trouble.

I'm wondering whether there's a search function that will return all notes with associated URLs. It doesn't matter what the URL is; I basically just want to tag all of them "Bookmark" now that I've decided to scrap my browser bookmarks and rely on Evernote for this. Is there an equivalent of "tag:*" for URLs that will show me all the notes that have URLs? Searching "URL:*" turns up posts that include "URL" in the text, rather than notes with data in the URL field. I've also tried a couple other searches, like "resource:URL," without luck.

Is this possible? If so, what's the correct way to do this search? Thanks.

If you know the website address, you can narrow your search by using the following format:

sourceURL:http://www.drudgereport.com/*

for the Drudge Report

sourceURL:http://hotair.com/*

for Hotair

sourceURL:http://dailycaller.com/*

for DailyCaller

Some website require www. and some do not. I don't know why.
