Level 5 jbenson2 2,146 Posted September 27, 2011 Level 5 Share Posted September 27, 2011 I have not seen a definitive answer, but I believe the answer is no.I bet the reason is the concern that the user will forget which password applies to which note. Link to comment
blaster219 18
I've just tried in on the Windows client with inconsistant results. If I enable "Remember passphrase until I quit Evernote" it only asks for the passphrase once. And it remembers it, like it says. But it also remembers it each time you choose to encrypt a new section of text, program-wide, and doesn't ask you to enter anything, simply encrypting the text.If I disable the option, each time I encrypt, it asks for the passphrase, if I enter a different one, it complains it doesn't match and gives me two options. Either retype in the passphrase or record a new one (which isn't recommended). However, I need to decrypt the text every time I switch notes, it doesn't stay decrypted like it does in the previous option. Not exactly convenient. Link to comment
