(Archived) Print PDF Dialogue - Save to Evernote

Hi, I have recently upgraded to Lion and I have EN 3.01 installed. When I am in other applications I no longer have the Print, PDF, Save to Evernote option available. I vaguely remember having to set this up when I first enabled it but I can't remember what I did. Can someone advise.

DId you download and install Evernote directly or via the Mac App Store? I seem to recall that the App Store version doesn't include the Print to PDF functionality due to Apple's restrictions on what App Store apps are allowed to do.

Aaah, that explains my problem too then. Do you know if this function can be "added" to the app store version?

Don't believe so, you will need to download direct from Evernote.

There is theoretically a way to hack it in, since the "Print to PDF" is actually just a folder full of scripts and plug-ins.

That said, it's just as easy to download the version directly from Evernote. It's also worth noting that once you've installed the downloaded version, you can actually go back to the App Store version and the PDF print function will still work. The issue isn't that the App Store version is incompatible with the plug-in -- it's imply that Apple doesn't allow Mac App Store apps to install the plug-in as part of their package.
