(Archived) Suggestion: Ink Notes for ALL platforms

Recommended Posts

Tablets (whether iPad or Android) are the perfect place for handwriting (finger, stylus). Why is it only the Windows version lets you create an Ink Note? Unless you have a touch screen or something like Wacom's Bamboo tablet, using Ink Notes in Windows is very hard... yet, it's the only EN version with the feature. Seems odd to me... :?:

I think ink notes are only on the Windows client b/c the precursor to the Evernote service was a Windows only, payware app also called EverNote. (Apparently, one distinction is the difference in capitalization, I guess.) That app had ink notes. IDK if EN plans on adding ink notes to the other clients. On iOS, several people use third party apps like Noteshelf to take handwritten notes & then send to Evernote. You can do a similar thing on Android. I've played with a few apps on my Kindle Fire but haven't found one I am thrilled about, yet.
