Hi All,

The new market release of Evernote is available on Android Market.

This update features:

• - create a blank picture with skitch
  - edit a picture with skitch
  - save attachment locally
  - move note to notebook
  - slideshow view
  - offline search
  - browse and add tags - improved experience

Hi,

If I try to open added Docs from within an Evernote notebook Polaris office crashes. Opening the same docs from within Polaris is no problem. The same happens with excell sheets. AIso tried office suite pro with the same results. (Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 all software updated to latest versions)

Hope you have a solution.

Pls send us logs and we will investigate what is going wrong when we send an open request to those apps.

Try to capture logs just after you see the crash.

I am quite upset with a defect that seems to have sprung up since the latest Android update (3.2 public). This defect has caused me two seriously embarrassing situations within the last week. Once I was with a business client and the other time at the doctor's office and both times I couldn't access vital information! In each case the note title was there but there was no information in the note body (no visible text or PDF link). In one case it was a plain text note and in the other case it was a PDF attachment. Evernote Android had data access, had offline ability and was synched up to date. When I returned to my laptop, the note body is there and available but it is not on the Android. VERY IMPORTANT: This problem never happened to me before the last Android Evernote App update. I have already uninstalled and rebooted my phone and then reinstalled Evernote and completely synced and it still does it (randomly with notes I depend on). Again...this never happened with the last version of Evernote Android.

Although this hasn't happened to me (yet), it is very troublesome and scary to hear that Android Evernote client

does not do the most basic stuff properly: accessing and reading notes. It is even more worrying that there

are occasions where the complete notes get corrupted or go missing, for ever...

I come to rely somewhat on Android Evernote and the recent reports made me reluctant to make any new notes

or edits on this platform. I'll stay away for a while and hope that Evernote stops implementing new features

(which are nice however), but rather focus on developing background activities robust and bullet-proof.

Thank you! It is reassuring to hear from Evernote team itself that the root cause for the problem was found and fixed.

And that a new beta is not just a patch that could hit us again some time along the way.

I have installed the beta and I still have a problem where opening a document inside a note causes Polaris Office to force close. Opening the same document in Polaris Office outside EN works just fine.

I have created a support ticket #16051-16751in which i have included a log.

I sent my log file to support through the ticketing system since I have the paid for service. I mentioned the fact that I had installed this beta in the ticket in three different places.

Still the only help I offered was to install this beta or restart my tablet. I've had no help since.

Pretty poor premium support.

Installed update yesterday. Now it will open "DOC" files. some "XLS" are opening, some are not. "unsupported file type". "ppt" won't open either. All files are opening fine from within Polaris. I send a log file.

editing notes is slow and inresponsive.

Is there any news on this? I have installed all the betas and I still have this problem.
