(Archived) Password protection and multiple account login

Some missing features:

1. password protection on the mac evernote: now when I open the app all notes are visible and I only have to login for the sync feature. I want a robust login to be able to have access to my notes on the mac.

2. we have multiple accounts in our family; there should be a feature to select an account when login in to evernote on the mac.

There is loads of discussion on this.

If you want to keep your Evernote account secure from other users on your computer then you should set up separate logins for each user. Evernote's view it appears is that you are responsible for the security of your data, at least on a desktop/laptop.

Yes, but the Mac client seems not to support login of multiple accounts on one Mac.

No you cannot have multiple Evernote accounts for an individual OS X account. If you want to set up separate Evernote accounts for different users, then you should set up separate accounts on your Mac and enable Fast User Switching.
