emacrq 0
CiaoToday I went to the local IKEA store, I bought something, but I see many think that i would take note of. Pencil and paper, I annotated product names and codes, but how would it be fantastic to write the IKEA code in evernote and let the system to dowload the entire product specs? I would just note the product codes while walking throught the store, then, at home with my mac I would show my wife the product specs and pictures directly from evernote, without a ton of cut'n'paste from evernote to ikea.it (.com .uk etc). Please, contact IKEA and ask for an integration ;-)CiaoEmanuele Link to comment
BurgersNFries 2,407
Doubtful they would ever integrate with IKEA product codes or any company for that matter. These days, almost everyone has a camera phone. What I do is take a photo of the item & a photo of the tag that contains product info & price. Link to comment
emacrq 0
That's what I do, but for every item you have to take at least 2 photo, maybe 3 if you want to show different textures or colors avaiable.I thought that with a simple code you could have every information. Link to comment
BurgersNFries 2,407
I thought that with a simple code you could have every information.Yes, but first, there would need to be complete integration between the two apps. Updated pretty much every day b/c I'd imagine many/most/all vendors change their info daily due to sales, new items, discontinued items, etc. Additionally, prices often vary upon the buyer's location. Then, this would need to be incorporated into all the EN clients. As it stands now, IIRC, stacks & sharing are not even fully integrated across all clients. It may seem like a simple thing to do to your eyes, but behind the scenes, it's not. Link to comment
gbarry 2,658
I smell a third party Trunk add-on. It'd have to be named the IKEA way though. IKEA Evarnötr. Powered by Evernote.API's there for a reason. IKEA engineers, activate! Link to comment
