(Archived) Date and place automatically from pics?

Hi all,

I was wondering if there is a way to send a picture to evernote, and automatically create a note with the pic, its "taken" date as date created, and its geo tagging as place.

I think this generally is the default behaviour, provided the image you email is tagged. I sent photos via my EN email address from my BlackBerry Torch 9800 which automatically geotags photos when it can. I believe they have appeared in EN with the correct creation date and place.

Certainly 'Snapshot' notes made from within the BB app exhibit this behaviour.

thanks david, the "snapshot" note creation does indeed record the geo location, but I think the date is simply the creation date.

I think it would be very useful to be able to create notes which extract the "taken" date out of the picture you are creating the note from... Also, there will be no geotagging if the picture was taken already...
