(Archived) "Tag names must be unique" and internal error?

Hi,

in additon to this problem (3rd post), i have read my evernote.log files and found this:

maybe thats the cause of the internal error, but i'm not sure and the support didnt answered to my inquiry yet (which is, because i wrote it 2 hours ago, so i don't complain here...).

so i hope, the community may have a hint/solution/idea/anything...

yesterday i changed a lot of tags (rename,moved,deleted) and there was an existing tag "yk" and another tag "yk-foo" which were doublettes, so i tried to merge those notes and deleted "yk-foo" tag, because it was not necsessary anymore.

that was on a windows client (newest stable release, sorry, i don't have the version number at this time available).

today, i booted my MAC and that internal error message came up:[attachment=0]Bildschirmfoto 2011-08-10 um 10.31.32.png[/attachment]

what i would like to try/check is (but i'm afraid of data loss...):

-using another (windows? mac?) EN-client and play around with the tags again.

-reinstall the mac-en-client, which would probably the thing, the support will answert me in the first place.

-checking the web-client what about the tags.

are there any other reccomandations/ideas?

what could go possibly wrong, if i delete whose "yk" tag (to solve the issue fast)?

any help is welcome

1st: a windows-client 4.5..05191 (165541) worked without error message. (so i could work...)

2nd: the Webinterface works too, but here i also did not know, what to do to fix that problem by myself.

3rd: i did not played around with the tags because i wasnt sure, what would happen.

4nd: the support told me to install a beta version of the mac-en-client.

that did the job.
